What is THE ALL STAR STREAM?
The All Star Stream is an auditioned group of dancers and cheerleaders who compete in the 'All Star World'. It was created for those students who really wished to push their abilities and dedicate themselves to a more elite performance experience. There are three branches of this stream;

With a focus on precision and high quality routines and teams, The All Star Stream competes at State and National competitions through the AASCF in huge stadiums and arenas. The Dance Affinity Performance (+) team was lucky enough to be selected to represent Australia at the 2022 Dance Worlds in Orlando, Florida taking out 9th place in both the Open Jazz and Lyrical divisions.

ALL STAR
DANCE
PERFORMANCE (+)
Performance (+) was a team introduced at the Dance Affinity in 2020. It was created for those students who really wished to push their abilities and dedicate themselves to a more elite performance experience. The team is a group of auditioned dancers who will work on precision dance routines to compete in the All Star Dance world.
The program has seen many accolades, including State Champions in 2023 in Senior Jazz, Open Jazz, Open Hip Hop, Senior Lyrical and Open Lyrical.
In April 2022, 12 dancers travelled to the USA to compete in both the Lyrical and Jazz divisions, taking home 9th place in the World in both divisions.
DANCE DOUBLES
Dance Doubles is a group of 2 dancers, who compete at All Star Competitions, executing a 1:30 routine filled with skills, choreography and precision dancing in Jazz, Lyrical, Pom or Hip Hop.
ALL STAR
CHEER
Competition Cheer
All Star Cheer is a high energy, team based performance sport that is athletic, artisitc and acrobatic. It involves athletes competing a 2:30 routine composed of tumbling, stunting, pyramids, dance and cheer segments. There is a prescribed list of skills and stunts that can be incorporated into a routine.
All Star competitions are held in huge stadiums in Sydney and the Gold Coast. Athletes are treated to professional lighting and sound, get to perform on a huge sprung floors and are cheered on by hundreds of people.
In 2024, The Dance Affinity aims to have two competition cheer teams!
