ABOUT US
Founded by Teagan Huntsdale, The Dance Affinity offers dance classes and performing arts classes to Wollongong and the Illawarra. Our dance classes offer a range of styles for varying abilities and ages, from our preschool to open adult classes. With highly experienced staff in both dance and teaching, we provide training for the aspiring professional dancer, the recreational dancer, or the dancing singer and actor. Each dance experience will enhance your knowledge and abilities whilst igniting your affinity for dance.

The Dance Affinity team strive to provide you with valuable, inspiring and engaging classes that keep you motivated, challenged and excited about all things dance. We believe this is the formula for developing exceptional dance technique.

Our teachers nurture positive relationships through having a caring approach to each individual's learning and wellbeing. Our goal is to inspire you to ignite your passion for dance and learning, by providing an experience that will benefit you beyond dancing.

While enhancing the student's dance ability and physical health in each dance class, The Dance Affinity aims to holistically improve our student's emotional, social and physical wellbeing. Through positive reinforcement, we generate self empowerment in each student who walks through our doors. This, along with encouragement from the teacher, leads to a new level of self drive.

Feel part of a supportive network when you join The Dance Affinity. A warm and friendly community driven by the understanding that life can at times be chaotic and busy. By being a part of our Affinity Community our students and parents/carers along with their families are at the heart of our business. Our nurturing approach strives to provide support beyond dance training in the classroom. With our teachers being exceptional role models we are here for our students as that extra responsible support that both parents and dancers can rely on.
